Over time, your original radiator cap can lose its seal. Because your cooling system is under so much pressure, this can become a messy situation and eventually lead to overheating.
We like to supplement these on radiators that come with aftermarket caps, or don't come with any at all.
This is only intended for the radiator, not the coolant expansion tank found on the turbocharged EJ motors.
