ACT makes some of the best aftermarket clutches in the business, and we use them in our own Mach V project cars.
An ACT clutch package delivers significantly better power handling AND durability over the stock clutch, with minimal driveability trade-offs (at least in the full face models). All ACT clutches use new, not rebuilt, parts.
ACT's Streetlight flywheel weights only 13.7 pounds. That's compared with 24.6 pounds for the stock flywheel.
Note that this clutch is aggressive, and engagement is not as smooth as a full-face clutch. The lightweight flywheel also will make more noise/resonance compared to the stock flywheel. We will not accept returns because of clutch harshness and/or noise/vibration from the lighter/more aggressive components.
This kit includes a the Heavy Duty 6-puck ACT clutch, ACT Streetlight flywheel, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and an alignment tool -- everything you need for installation. Rated to 537ft/lbs. Fits all 2006-2014 WRX, and 2005-2009 Legacy GT/Outback XT five-speeds.
Tech Tip: Torque Clutch cover bolts to 26 ft lbs in a crisscross method.
