For reasons we don't understand, US domestic market (USDM) 2022+ Subaru WRX cars don't come with an insulation pad under the hood. Japan-market (JDM) cars DO come with hood insulation. Most other US Subaru models come with underhood insulation. Why is it omitted from the WRX? We have no idea.
Our OEM kit includes that JDM hood insulation pad, plus ten pop-fasteners to attach it to the hood. Installation takes just minutes. Do make sure that the hood insulation is tucked into the two plastic retention clips by the scoop. (See detail photo.)
