Koni struts: Their quality is legendary, and the yellow "Sport" shock is dearly loved in our community. The newest version of the Koni Yellows for Subaru WRX comes as a set of complete replacement struts for easier install. No more sawing open your old strut cartridges!

Installation notes: The rear strut tops will have to be drilled out to accommodate the larger diameter of the strut shaft. Use a 12mm drill bit. Also, be sure the rear spring perch is correctly oriented down over the circlip on the strut body. THIS IS IMPORTANT! The groove in the perch should fit exactly over the circlip.  If the rear perch is upside down, the circlip will be free to expand under load and the perch will fall down the body of the strut. Fitment note: Koni designed these struts to match the springs that go with the NON-inverted WRX front struts, which were on model year 2015 (all) and 2016 (BASE only) WRX cars. They will fit those OEM springs perfectly, and other OEM springs (WRX or STI) will also work fine, probably. Aftermarket springs intended for the later inverted front struts MIGHT be slightly short when used with these struts, which won't matter in most cases, but could cause clunking at full droop.
